This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of MenuMargin, operated by Epicurean Digital Consultants Ltd (company number 16622200). This policy supplements our Terms of Service.

Permitted Use

MenuMargin is designed for legitimate business use by restaurants, cafés, pubs, food trucks, catering companies, food consultants, and similar food and beverage businesses. You may use the Service to:

  • Create, design, and export menus for your business or your clients' businesses.
  • Manage food costing, gross profit analysis, and pricing.
  • Manage allergen information and dietary labels.
  • Use AI-powered tools to generate menu descriptions and optimisation suggestions.
  • Export menus as PDFs, images, or QR codes for use in your business.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use MenuMargin to:

  • Illegal purposes: engage in or facilitate any activity that violates applicable laws, regulations, or legal obligations, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, or tax evasion.
  • Harmful content: upload, store, or distribute content that is illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, or promotes violence or hatred.
  • Abuse and harassment: harass, intimidate, or abuse other users, our staff, or any third parties.
  • Automated access: use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access, extract, or manipulate data from the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Reverse engineering: reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of any part of the Service.
  • Service disruption: attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure, including denial-of-service attacks or introducing malware.
  • Unauthorised access: attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or any restricted areas of the Service.
  • Account misuse: share your login credentials, create multiple accounts for the same individual, or resell access to the Service.
  • Circumvention: bypass, disable, or interfere with any security, access control, or usage limitation features of the Service.
  • Intellectual property infringement: upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted material, trademarks, or trade secrets.

Consequences of Violation

If we determine that you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy, we may, at our sole discretion, take one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning: issue a formal warning outlining the violation and required corrective action.
  • Temporary suspension: temporarily suspend your access to the Service.
  • Permanent termination: permanently terminate your account without refund.
  • Content removal: remove or disable access to any content that violates this policy.
  • Legal action: pursue legal remedies, including reporting illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
